About IPv6 to Binary Conversion
This tool converts an IPv6 address into its full 128-bit Binary representation. An IPv6 address is composed of eight 16-bit groups (called hextets), written in hexadecimal and separated by colons. This tool can handle both full addresses (e.g., `2001:0db8:85a3:0000:0000:8a2e:0370:7334`) and compressed formats that use `::` to represent consecutive zero-groups.
The conversion process involves expanding any compressed sections, then converting each of the eight hextets into its 16-bit binary equivalent, ensuring each binary group is padded with leading zeros to maintain the correct length.
